The Mount St. Mary’s University elementary education program is your chance to prepare yourself for a teaching position in grades 1–6. The adult undergraduate program is designed specifically to accommodate the schedule of a working adult, offering courses online or one night each week during the academic year and twice per week in the summer.
As a student in the Mount’s adult undergraduate education program you will:
- Attend convenient classes. Meet part-time one night per week and/or weekends during the academic year and twice per week during the summer.
- Finish at your own pace. Core courses are offered year round in accelerated 5- and 8-week sessions. Take the courses you need at your convenience.
- Receive specialized support for adult students. One-on-one advising and a customized degree plan are available and encouraged for all students.
Mount St. Mary’s University’s Frederick Campus invites you to our Wednesdays with the Mount series where you can make a virtual appointment with an advisor. All your transfer questions can be answered from 12 – 1 p.m. through a Zoom chat session every other Wednesday through May (no meetings will be available over the holidays).
