It’s a rigorous, challenging program that gives you the flexibility to earn your degree faster than other programs and places a strong emphasis on close student-faculty relationships. You’ll have the option to take classes face-to-face, online or a combination of both. In addition, Mount St. Mary’s University believes that ethical conflicts and choices are inherent in business decision making, and graduates should be prepared for the application of ethical business standards.

This flexibility makes the Mount’s MBA a convenient option for working adults seeking to advance their careers at their own pace – even in as little as one year!

The Mount MBA helps you gain a general understanding of business practices in conjunction with focusing on a specific area of expertise. Concentrations are offered in finance, marketing and management with select courses available online.

Course delivery at the Mount is designed so that you can balance work and graduate school. As a student in the Mount’s MBA program you will:

  • Finish in 1-2 years. Twelve courses (36 credits) are offered in 8-week sessions. You can take 1-2 classes per session, or you can take a session off to go on vacation or focus on your family. Flexibility is the hallmark of the Mount’s traditional MBA program.
  • Attend convenient classes. Meet one night per week (6-9:30 p.m.), or online courses may also be offered.
  • Earn a certificate or concentration without taking additional courses. Certificates are earned by substituting three MBA core classes and two MBA electives with five certificate courses. Concentrations are earned by taking two electives in an area of study in addition to the required core courses.

This program is available to be completed fully online asynchronous and/or synchronous.
