Instructional Leadership Certificate for Educators

Take your education career to the next level with the Mount’s graduate certificate in instructional leadership. This program prepares students to think creatively, reason logically and communicate effectively in a variety of leadership positions including assistant principal, specialists and teacher leaders.

The hybrid format allows you to take online classes from home and also meet on weeknights at our convenient Frederick campus, minutes from I-70 and I-270, as well as our main campus in Emmitsburg.

Students enrolled on at least half-time basis (6-credits per semester) may qualify for financial aid. You may seek financial assistance through federal and state-funded programs, private loan providers, or deferment of undergraduate loans.

  • Master of Education degree from an accredited four-year institution with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
  • Official undergraduate transcript(s) from all accredited four-year institutions attended after high school.
  • Copy of current valid teaching certificate.
