The Mount’s program is designed for working adults.

As a student in the Mount’s program you will:

  • Finish in only 10 months. 5 courses are offered sequentially, allowing you to focus on one class at a time.
  • Attend convenient classes. The hybrid format allows you to take online classes from home and also meet on weeknights at our convenient Frederick campus, minutes from I-70 and I-270.
  • Work toward your master’s degree. Certified teachers may apply certificate credits to a Master of Education with a concentration in technology facilitation.

The graduate certificate in technology facilitation is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field.

Admissions requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a minimum 2.75 GPA

While the majority of our students choose to earn a post baccalaureate certificate in addition to a graduate degree, some opt for a stand-alone certificate program. For those opting to take only the certificate program additional information is provided and required by the federal government regarding program costs, financing, success rate and related occupations.
